Default tutorials for starting a site from a template?

Does anyone know of any NOF tutorials for starting a new site from a
template - such as the ones provided in NOF12? Thanks - Dana

Click on the button that says "Site from Template", navigate to where the template is located on your computer and select it.

It is all pretty much automated once you click and locate the template file

Hi, Mike - yeah, I can get that far - and if that's all there is, I'm
fine. But awhile back I saved a snippet from the NG where someone (Chuck
    Joslin, I believe) wrote:

"The idea is to copy the template starter page in Site View before you
    add any content to it.

Select the page and press Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+V to paste the copy into
    Site View. Rename the copy.

If you always keep a blank templated page available to base new pages
on, it makes things go very quickly."

I was hoping some tutorial might be available showing this process.
Never having done this - always having started with a blank page - I'm
not sure "where" the copied page goes (beside the original one? in a new
site altogether?) and what happens to the rest of the pages in the
    template.
