Default Navigation Bar Fly-outs don't move horizontally and vertically

I want the fly-out menus for the child pages to opento the right of the main navigation bar. The instructions say Offset defines the position of the fly-out submenu, but when I change the value from 0 to 30 (the maximum number it will let me use), nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

This is specifically about the Wine-Country-Tours submenu at Woody's Wine Tours, http://www.woodyswinetours.com/Wine-...try-tours.html

This is what I am reading in the manual:

Select Include Fly-out submenus to make child pages not included in the navigation
bar visible when the site visitor moves the pointer over the parent page link.
The advanced Fly-out submenu settings will become active.
    • Orientation displays the fly-out submenu horizontally or vertically.
    • Open describes how the menu will unfold.
    • Offset defines the position of the fly-out submenu.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Have you gone over my tutorial on the nav bar flyouts?

I have gone over your tutorial, and I still can't see what I am missing. I **think** I have done everything I should (and probably more - - I have slowly been checking all the boxes to see if I get a response). I'll attach a screen print of the Advanced palette.

    Thanks for the help.

I think you need to select the menu level above the actual flyouts. You are applying a "flyout subemenu" to the "Wine-Country-Tours" page. Select that page and make the settings to apply to the menu for the pages below.

    Roy,

When I saw your reply, I was SURE that was the issue. However, it still doesn't move to the right. Any other suggestions?

I would still like to be able to fix this. Is it possible they don't fly out because there isn't enough room in the border for them to do it? I am really grasping at straws here . . .

I resolved this by deleting the navigation buttons and recreating them. Now the flyouts work.
