    Default countdown timer

I've tried putting a countdown timer on my site, it does local save ok and works, but when I try to ftp it Netobjects closes down and on restart rescues an unstable file. I've tried timers from three different sources. Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks

Are you using this method to insert your scripts?

I've just discovered there are two reply buttons on here, one of which erases all the stuff you've just carefully written. Now there's an instance of NOF going out of its way to be awkward!! As I was saying before I was so rudely erased...... Yes, I put the stuff in the html box into the text box and all worked well in site view. But using the ftp gubbins made NOF just disappear, and when I relaunched it, it said there was an unstable script which it rescued. The countdown was on the home page where there had previously been four other clocks. I've successfully put it on a different page, which suggests that when I erased the 4 clocks something got left behind that clashes with the countdown. Is that possible? And if so can I remove the junk that got left behind? Thanks. Please don't erase me again

Yes, it is possible that you have left some part of one of the scripts and it is causing you problems.

Here is my tutorial on how to remove microsoft word formatting. Follow this tutorial and look for any parts of the old scripts and remove them.

Also take a look on any of the pages that you inserted the scripts on for a rogue html insert ikon (will be a small blue circle with a T inside of it like the one shown in the how to insert tutorial). Remove all non used scripts in the body of your page.

You may also want to run through the clean up process. This process is explained as the first 2 steps in the export tutorial

While you are at it, you should export a template so that you have a backup copy of your site project.
