Has it always been like you are seeing it now or is this something that is a recent development?

If you start a new blank site (for testing) and slam in some filler text do you get the same results with a new site project?

The only way I could reproduce what you showed was to open palettes on both sides but when they were closed the truncation went away for me.

which version of Internet Explorer are you running?

OK, now we're getting somewhere. I can confirm that, having just created a new test site, I did NOT have a repeat of this problem. This leads me to think it may be something to do with the site design theme as, although the problem has been there for months, as, if I recall correctly, it first started happening after changing the site design theme. However, I have changed the theme several times, both before and since.

I did notice that you have a LOT of inline html formatting. This is one thing you can clean up and use css formatting in the future (this might not be your problem but it is another problem you have)

You can also check in style view and make sure you only have one active site style. Delete any that are listed in the active list so that you only have one. This tutorial explains how to make a dup style but it will go over how to clear the active site style list also

You should make sure you have all of your css formatting set up.

I did not find any external (imported formatting) but you might as well check for that while you are cleaning things up

Set your default paste option to unfomatted text will keep you from importing formatting if you copy/paste from any MS program like word or excel

Run through all of this (even if one of the suggestions clears up your issue, go through everything listed above to clean up your site)

Brilliant. There are lots of useful suggestions in there. I have to go out shortly, so probably won't get a chance to work through it all until tomorrow, but thank you very much.
