    Default site preview problem

    Hi All,

1st time user working on tutorial. Completed the first stage up to site preview. Looks as if it worked with loading data, but the preview screen does not appear and takes me back to previous screen.

Any ideas as to what I may have done incorrectly?

Am using Windows 8, IE and/or Chrome in NO Fusion Essentials.

    thanks,

    passinthru

Well, looks like I will have to answer my own question.

After a bit of searching it seems I had not selected a browser, editor etc. form the tools/application link. Nothing in the tutorial informed me to do that or if it did I missed it.

Looks like I'm in for a lot of these snags.

The free version of NOF Essentials is more or less identical with NOF 7,5, first released in 2003/2004....
Essentials is not even compatible with Windows 7, I doubt if you will have more luck with Windows 8.

Don't be miffed: Lack of a response only means one of two thinigs basically:
    1. No one knows what the answer may be.
    2. You didn't provide enough data to make an assessment of the problem so
    others could respond correctly.

Or both, I suppose. These days it seems everyone wants to write a tutorial
before they're really cognizant of enough information to get it right. And
they don't "test" their tutorials either. Then again, some are poorly
written simply because the authors just don't have a good enough grasp to be
writing them so they're fully usable for the "guy on the street".
Keep at it; you'll get there.

Twayne, I think he meant he was working his way through the tutorial.

?? I don't understand - did I say anything incorrect or rude there?
