    Default need Wow Slider help

    Hi,

My turn to ask for help/advice.

Working on a layout using wow slider. Works fine in Chrome, Safari, FF, but weird rendering in IE 9. Anyone else had this, found a work around?

The slide show on its own previews fine in IE, it is only when code is added to NoF that the problem appears. problem on local and remote publish.

    Here it is.

    TIA

Have you tried putting the body code into a single celled table with non breaking space unchecked.

A text box writes a non breaking space by default to prop it open. This can throw off some graphic displays.

    Hi mIKE,

I hadn't, but have done so now.

Still broken in IE. Shame so many people still use it.

    But thanks for the suggestion.

In IE 8, after each image fades in, I get a closeup of a cows arse! Interestingly, if I click on the "Compatibility Mode" button in IE, it seems to work fine.

    Here's something to try:

    1. Open your project file in NOF
    2. Go to Tools -> Options -> Current Site...
    3. In the General tab at the bottom, click on [HTML OPtions...]
    4. Uncheck "Use quirks mode doctype"

Although, usually if this is an issue, it is an issue with all browsers, but worth a try. I spent an entire weekend trying to resolve a conflict with a script. I finally had all the hoops lined up and working. Then I discovered it worked fine if I simply unchecked that box. Thomas....

Well Ray, it seems you nailed it!

Fixed it for IE, hasn't broken the other browsers and still renders fine on iPad!

Cannot really read the text underneath.

    Hi Mia,

What you see is what I've done, text needs proper layout on graphic, this is just a site concept for client, a long way to go before finished.

    But thanks for the input

    RayC,

I was having the same problem with another product made by the same company and that did the trick for me as well. I should have checked the forum 8 hours ago.

    Thanks
