Add Page BEFORE Home Page
I made a big mistake...as an update, I have created a new replacement site for my business.
And I am getting close to finishing and ready to upload this new version.
Right now I have a new "landing page" at my web address which (if you click enter)
will redirect you to my old site at my old host.
http://outlawzdesign.com/
I will be uploading the newly built version to this newer Host so the "landing page" was
supposed to be Page ONE of the new site.
However I forgot about it and built the new version of my site with a Main page...
which is actually Page TWO of the site.
So, my question is...how do I insert a page IN FRONT of my Home Page, to become the new Home Page.
(or just be the first page of the website?)

in site view, left click and hold the page you want to move. Drag it above the existing home page and rename it. Any page can be moved to a new position this way.

That might work...I can duplicate the old "landing page" easily.
And then I just move it to be the first page in the tree.
Will that carry all the home page assets? Things like the info, tags, etc?

Simple answer - yes.
All you are doing is changing the page's hierarchy, so everything relating to that page moves with it. If you are using NoF menus, they also update to reflect the changes.
You can also use copy and paste to copy an entire page to reuse it in your site.

yup, thats what I did.
I copied the first page in the tree (the "home" page)
to create a duplicate in the tree.
then I grabbed and dragged that new page on top of the first page in the tree
and "pop" it jumped in front!
Then I just renamed the first and second pages
...and swapped out the elements of the page to create a new "entry/landing" page,
and the "home" page is now second in the tree.
Done
Great
Thanks
off to deal with the next problem!
