I'm interested to try. I was running Win8 and reverted to 7 because under 8 NoF XII had the same crash problems I was experiencing with 2013 until I found this solution.

I get these Crashes now and again with NOF12 in win8.... I NEVER LOST anything though..... It Always Repairs it self on Restart....... Maybe You could try NOF13 on win8..... If I remember correctly NOF's Licenses Allows running on 2 developmental Systems.......

I never installed a tablet-Screen on my WIN7 system, the box is checked by default. Never had a problem with it.
Is it going to be a problem particular to NOF 2013?

I heard of crashes occurring with touch screens, but not if touch screens are not actually installed.

    Any feedback on this?

It was checked on my win 7 pro install and I had no issues with the 2013 software.

Removed it and I still have no issues.

Hi Barabar, if you read Kiwi and my previous posts, you would see that neither of us has a touch screen device installed. Also you would notice that it was an issue on my win 7 workstation but not on my similarly spec'd laptop. So yes, it is an issue, sometimes but not other. Obviously there's something else going on but with a bloated OS like windows 7 who can say what?

yes, there is and its very, very odd.

Since making that change I have two programs that now refuse to run. So, I re-ticked the box, both programs still not working, but NoF 2013 IS working perfectly now, even though box is still ticked.

Go figure, as my Seppo friends would say.

Yep, not there in Windows 8. NOF13 crashes all the time for me. Anybody know how to disable Tablet PC Components in Win 8?

    Hi nsandin,

The steps are lightly different for Windows 8:

As this is an OS option, please understand that changing this option might affect other applications outside of NetObjects Fusion 2013.

    1. Hover in the top right corner to bring up the search option
    2. Switch to Settings for the search options
    3. Search for Services
    4. Select View local services
    5. The Services dialog appears
    6. Look for Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service
    7. Right click > properties
    8. Stop the service

You might also want to set the Startup type to Manual.

    Thanks,
    Adam
