Data Sources Functions

I currently use NOF11 to build a dynamic e-commerce site. The data source functions make it so much easier to connect to Mysql, build recordsets(queries) and bind them to the site to produce each page dynamically. I am interested with NOF13 writing in html 5 and from what I have read, it is much faster in certain areas..ie. generating pages and publishing. My question is...does NOF13 have the data source functions that are present in NOF11. The component I use allows connectors, recordset(Query), custom variables( especially url variables), and ability to bind connectors to the proper publish profiles as I use wamp to test the pages.

I think for this kind of stuff you need to get help from your service provider or from experts like downloading this FM WhatsApp and joining some experts groups via this application.
