Default Form Validation is working but the errors are not being displayed

I have a Page with a Form set with validations on several fields. All the fields validate in that the submit does not move on. The errors are not displayed anywhere on the page. Am I missing something in the layout which captures the error messages?

this is a bug that is caused when publishing by asset type

when you try flat or by directory, then it works

I am confused by your phrase flat or by directory. Are you saying I should publish to local directory first then copy files to FTP? Will this change the directories in the pages for a remote site? I am not sure how that will work. I have a site on my PC that is configured the same as a remote website. This allows me to do more testing because I have a complicated database structure I am writing pages for

in publish view, publish menu, arrange files, you have 3 choices, all work with form validation except asset type

I would wait for the next update, but meanwhile, you can test locally with one of the other two structures

Thank you for the information. I tried both ways but since I have my IIS mimicking the remote site none of the pages worked as I need. So far, with the exception of the errors everything is working as I expect. I will move on with the development.

I will wait for the next update hopefully it will not take long to get this fixed.

I forgot to mention a temp workaround

    1. go to publish view
    2. open the asset folder on the left and cut polifiller.js
    3. paste inside the root where index.html is
    4. publish and it will work
