Angry Installation Fails "Unable to create shell objects"

    Hello

I have been using NOF XII. I uninstalled it and tried to install the NOF 2013. The installation proceeds to the end and then fails with the message "Unable to create shell objects". The program then uninstalls.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium, i7-2600, 16GB DRAM, plenty of storage space.

I have AV, I turned it off,
    I ran as administrator.

Is there anything else I need to do?

    Thanks

    Anthony

    Anthony,

Was there already a file, folder or shortcut on your desktop named "NetObjects Fusion 2013" before you ran the installation?

If so, try renaming it to something else. Then reattempt the NOF2013 installation.

Thanks for the advice. There was a NOF XII Desktop short cut and a Start Menu entry. I deleted them and restarted and the installation was fine.
