I have a site I just finished three weeks ago. I submitted it to Google,
MSN and Yahoo at the same time. There has been 31 hits from Google since
then. That is after just three weeks! People have found it just searching
the name of the town they are located in. Sure, it is not the top result
yet, but far enough up people are finding it, and it will get better as time
goes on.
However, I always tell people that it could take up to 6 months, just incase
Google throws me for a major loop. <g>
