nof 13 - html 5- tables don't validate - options?

Did a publish with the new NOF 13, and have some tables in the site..
some just to get a graphic border to surround the text box, and some on other pages to align some pics with some text..
I'd really like to stick with the html 5 publish settings.. is there a different option for converting tables to CSS within fusion or something?

Convert the tables to Layout Regions which NoF will publish as <div>s. Tables should only be used these days to present tabular data. You can add borders to Layout Regions and Text Boxes. Personally, I create all my sites using Layout Regions; it's the first thing I place when I create a new page.
