Thread: Calendar plugin for NO website not working on Android Tablet

Default Calendar plugin for NO website not working on Android Tablet

I do the website for our Home Owners association, and want to be able to open it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android system). I can open the site, no problem but the calendar says I need a plug in and I can't seem to find one that will work with it. Somewhere I read that you could only use FireFox to do this, and I did have it working at one time, but now it won't. When it did work though, I had to click on the icon to get it to show up. Are there any plugins that will fix this that will work with Android systems?

The Calendar is made with Flash. Flash is not supported on mobile devices. Android or Apple iOS devices.

Actually there are flash plug-ins for Android although not for iOS. Depending on the variant of the OS, some versions of Android support flash natively, others not. But you should be able to find one in the App Store (or whatever they call it on Android).

True... but you can't count on Android users to have added Flash support.

No you can't. I wouldn't rely on web users having it or having it enabled, either, especially tech savvy ones (although the punters will). In fact, unless I had a specific reason I wouldn't use flash at all any more.

    Hi,

you may have a look at this calender - it works everywhere, you also can update it online threw an admin panel and (if you want) entries older than the actually date will be deleted automatically. My page is in German, but maybe you are able to handle it (you also may use the Google-Translate-Button on the bottom of my page).

    Hi, Thomas

When clicking through months on this calendar, when you click from December 2013 to January, it goes to January 2013. I don't know if you know the programmer for this, but it would be worth suggesting it rollover to 2014 when you click through the month.
