    Default Update Sequence

This may be a silly question, but is it necessary to do update 1, followed by update 2, followed by update 3 or do subsequent updates include the previous update information?

Though they say it is not necessary I always run updates sequentially when I reinstall.

I also reboot after each process (install - reboot, update - reboot, and so on). This is also not necessary but it is something I have always done in the past with all software installs but I am a belt and suspenders kind of guy

I see there is an update 4 out for NOF 2013???

Does anyone know if this sorts out the problems with update 3?

After having problems with Update 3 I rolled back to update 2, I assume if I want update 4 I would first have to install Update 3, expecially as update 3 was 40 somethig Meg and update 4 is only 20 something Meg?

All updates are designed to be "stand alone" so you should be able to run the current update without any previous updates installed.

    BUT.....

If you find you have issues after installing the #4 update you can revert back to a clean install of the original product then apply all 4 updates in sequence, one after the other.

I always recommend updates be applied in this mannere (regardless of what the original software is) when a clean install is required.

Uninstall product using Windows add/remove software from the windows control panel
    Reboot
    Install original distibution
    Reboot
Install all updates one at a time and reboot between the completion of each update

When finished with the last install always reboot as the last process.

    Ok Thanks
But after the problems I experienced after applying Update 3 I am very wary of apply Update 4!
Has anyone tried Update 4, have they experienced any problems?
Another question is if I apply update 3 again and then Update 4 will Update 4 fix the problems in Update 3????
