    Default is it better ...

... to open an old web site in Fusion 2013, update it and publish it back on the hosting server or redo the old web site from scratch in Fusion 2013 completely new?

(Added: so far I used to discard the old web site and make a new one with whatever new version of Fusion I bought, but now the web site grew to quite a larger size than before and I need to know if a similar web site in Fusion 2013 will work better - whatever 'better' means' - if completely re-done).

Keep in mind, if you are moving a site from an older version to a newer version, it is not a matter of simply opening your project file in the newer NOF.

You must export your site to a template from the version of NOF (eg. NOF 12) that it was created in. Then import that template into NOF13 as a new site/project.

The steps have been the same forever, and you can find them in this thread.

Certainly re-building a site will always be cleaner, and you have the chance to make some improvements and optimizations along the way. But there is no reason to believe that doing an export/import to a newer version will (always) cause problems if you follow the appropriate steps.

Please use the instructions located here for the proper migration method.
