    Default Unwanted templates

    Hello you NoF Gurus,

I have a lot of unwanted templates so I have uninstalled NoF 13 to get rid of them. After the uninstall, I've used all sorts of searches to find and delete them. However when I re-install NoF 13, they are still there.

NoF 13 must hide them someplace inaccessible to the average user. Is there a solution to this problem?

    Thanks,

    NfWashburn

Are you talking about templates you've created?

    Look in System\Users\Public\Public Documents\NetObjects Fusion 2013 folder.

    Hi Chuck,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, the unwanted templates are ones that I've created. I have done as you suggested and deleted the files in Public Documents\NetObjects Fusion 2013.

Also the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\NetObjects\NetObjects Fusion 13\Templates have been deleted.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro. Are there other locations where NoF stores templates?

    Thanks,

Not unless you told it to.

Another location files are placed is in your Documents > NetObjects Fusion 2013 folder.

This is Windows standard.... not something peculiar to Fusion.

    Thanks kindly, Chuck,

I'm not that adventurous, I only do the default file locations.

    Hi Chuck,
Is there any way to stop NoF 13 from putting it's files in My Documents? NoF 13 files are overwhelming My Documents to the point that is difficult to find my regular documents.
I hear what you say about it's a Windows thing, but is there a workaround?
    Thanks,

You can save site files anywhere you wish.

Make a new User Sites folder in another location and tell Fusion to use it. Go to Tools > Options > Application and enter the location for where you put the new User Sites folder.

Keep in mind, if you move existing sites there, that will change the file path and you'll have to relocate your assets.

Alternately, you can export templates and make new sites from them in the new User Sites folder.
