Question Where does Corel Fit In?

    Hi everybody,

I am new and still in the process of testing Net Object Essentials.
However this trial software is from Corel as I am a strong supporter of Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro photo editors.

How does Corel fit into the equation? Is the future development coming from Corel or from NetObjects?

Should I buy Fusion straight out from NetObject instead of essential from Corel?

Support for both seems to be coming from this website!

Neto and Corel partnered a while ago and Corel got the rights to distribute the Neto software with their products.

I believe that the Corel product is 1 version old now (Fusion 12) so it is still a viable product.

I would suggest that you use the Corel version and if you want to upgrade the SN/Key from that product should be a qualifying product for the upgrade pricing to the newest NetO release. You should ask NetO directly about Corel X6 being a qualifying upgrade before you commit to purchasing: http://support.netobjects.com/

The Fusion essentials that is a free download on the NetO site is Fusion 7.5 which is much older than what Corel is distributing with their products.

All this is speaking from memory as far as the Corel and Neto products. I DO NOT work for NetO or Corel so it is not the last word, just what I can recall.
