how to send fancy emails ??
This is kind of of subject... but I thought since I've been hanging around
this forum, the folks here might have some good answers.
I would like to send out news update emails to my mailing list... one's that
come in like a webpage... graphics, colors links ect ect...
What is the best way to create something like this and something that will
not be blocked by the recipients server or email program....
Thanks

There are no guarantees of any email not being blocked, but having said
that, for mailings such as you want:
MailChimp http://www.mailchimp.com/ it's free up to 500 subscribers/3000
emails a month. This does not require any setup on your own server and
ensures you have the greatest chance of an email getting through.
I also use a program called POMMO http://pommo.org/Main_Page which you set
up on your own server it requires a MySQL database and some PHP knowledge,
but works well. I even have a few clients using this themselves after it's
set up. We create the design template in NOF and then create a template in
POMMO and they can then type it up themselves each month.
There are of course several others, but I can personally recommend both of
these as I use them.

Joel,
I published an article on my blog about this with some good links to
resources you may find helpful.

HINT: keep your html emails very, very simple to support gmail, hotmail and
Outlook 2007 users.
Cheers,
