    Default Sizing a layout region

I am trying to set a specific width on a layout region - I need to add just
2 or 3 pixels to the width to get it just right but when I try to stretch
the box, I'm going too far. I've looked all over but can't find a place
where I can see the current size and add a few pixels to it. I found the
placement settings, but no size settings. Am I missising seeing it
    somewhere?
    Thanks,
    Janice

    Janice,

You may be trying to get it too close to the edge of the page and it's
snapping into position beyond where you want the width.

Move the LR over a bit to the left, size it and then put it back where you
    want it.

Thanks Chuck! I was using a layout region with a repeating background image
to span the distance between two graphics. I have the box lined up against
the left graphic but can't get it to meet the right one without going under
or over. Tried putting them all inside the one LR but the repeat is now
causing a problem so it's back to the grahics program to change the
    background.

I frequently have the same problem, and it has nothing to do with
snapping to the edge of the page. It's amazing how long it can take to
set a specific size in a layout region. That's been true for every
    version of NOF I've used.

The ability to enter specific values for x,y coordinates, height and
    width would be very helpful.

Put a clearpixel.gif inside your layout region. Size it a few pixels high
X width required. Then drag layout region sides until it will close no
    more. :-)
