I have gotten the same message since I bought version 12. I wish I could just go back to version 8
I am determined to make it work.
For me...nothing lines up. Now that I have Win8 (I had Vista home premium)...I'm going to try again.

I hate to break the news to you, but there is zero difference in the ftp function between Fusion 8 and 12.
The problem has to be in your settings.
Try going to advanced settings for your remote publish profile and toggle the setting for passive mode. It could be something as simple as that.
Assuming all of you basic settings are correct.

Chuck and Franko, I chatted with the Media Temple people and was given a directory that is a folder that was made special for my domain of www.heritagebuildingblocks.org I will show you the directory (folder) info I was told to use in a picture below:
I still get the following message - see picture below:
I made sure I used SFPT and Port 22 and the PASSIVE mode is on, etc.
Any suggestions???? Thanks, Jeanette
Jeanette,
Out of suggestions.
Unless you'd like to share your password via PM to allow me or someone else to test the settings. You can always change the password after this gets resolved.

Chuck, I changed the FTP password and got that to work. I must have written down the wrong password before, I assume. However, I have a new problem. See picture below:
I'm not sure what this message means. At first it said that I had this problem and asked if I wanted it fixed. Then I got the message above that it could not be fixed. Any ideas? Thanks. Jeanette
You're trying to publish to the wrong location on the server. One that isn't writable.
Send me your correct password by PM and I'll take a look.

Jeanette,
Your main issue was the incorrect password. The other issues are the publish directory and ftp method.
I PMed you with my analysis and correct settings.
Good luck!
