    They can't possibly test for every possible individual computer configuration.

    A lot of users are having no issues with Fusion 2015 and Windows 7, 8 or 8.1.

    There's no need to disable Windows Defender to install and run the program.

    The other software you mention could interfere even if not actively running at the time.

    Particularly BitDefender. Horrors.

    Why Horrors Bitdefender???? I have found it far better (including support) than eg Kaspersky.
    It was disabled so n o way could it interfere. Let's face it.... support from NOF is virtually non existant. Any other compant would request access to computer to check/resolve, including Microsoft.

    Of course you're right. But not really.

    BitDefender is known to be incompatible with MalwareBytes. (just check the BitDefender forums). Just for one thing.

    And it can cause system problems even when not running.

    But, of course you're right.

    Going off the issue of why NOF2015 doesn't run but I have been running BitDefender and Malwarebytes quite happily for some time now!
