    Default Endcaps on flyout submenu?

So I tried this before and couldn't get it to work, and now again (still) can't get it to work.

Is it possible to apply endcaps to a secondary nav bar style on a flyout submenu?

It's in the SiteStyle, you can check the box, but nothing happens. It only seems to work on a primary nav bar set to use secondary buttons created via the "custom" option.
