Default In preview, image is moved off page?

    Hi,
I have an image on my homepage, under the banner, in the layout. When I
preview, it's about 3-4inches off to the right! What would cause this? How
    do I fix?
It's a gif that I created and not real big,
    confused again,
    RG

It sounds like you've got two things overlaying each other. Look for a red
! mark. If not, send a URL.

The image not showing up means that it can't access the image and so
therefore that image is missing for some reason.

It's hard to help without a URL, but ensure you are using Dynamic Page
Layout in your site options and then do a local publish (not Preview) and
make sure Publish changed assets only is NOT ticked.

If it still doesn't work, maybe attach the html file for that page to your
next post if you can't publish that to a web server.

You should be using Dynamic Page Layout, right? You can not
have any of your objects (text area, image, etc.) overlapping
each other. Overlaps will shove one of the overlapped items
off to the right so they don't overlap.
I think if you move some of the overlapping things around,
you'll see the red exclamation marks indicating that you've
    overlapped things.

You CAN purposely overlap objects, but ... it's a page layout
that's a lot less useful in other ways. IMO at least.

Try making a tall narrow Layout Region and placing it along the right
side of the page. Sometimes that will act as a placeholder and help
    things stay put.

    Just a note, I don't have ANY overlapping images,...that's a GIF that I
created to look like two pictures overlapping, but it's one image.
Still messing around with it, still haven't figured it out yet, but will
    post when I do
    off I go!

The problem gif is not overlapping any other content that I can see, but
it will be pushed right due to the NOF component lower down in your page.

In your design view you show a component that is small at the bottom of
the screen shot: In the preview, this component has expanded to the
size specified in it's properties. It appears to be a flash slide show
or similar, but it is difficult to be certain because it is mostly off
the bottom of the screen shot.

In Preview, the problem gif is aligned onto the right edge of this
component when it has expanded. It might be worthwhile expanding the
component in design view to the same size as specified in the properties.
