    Default updating site issue

    I have been working on a problem of Firefox loosing parts of the website online. On EI it works fine. (home page background is not there and NAV buttons blacked out) So tech support told me to update my JAVA which I did and now when making any changes to the site through the program, the page will blink for every button pushed. it is a delayed blink so everything down takes 2-3 seconds to complete. Any ideas what could be wrong?
