    Default Back-up on laptop corrupt

I am using NetObjects Fusion Essentials 2014, my hosting site is 1&1. I had to switch laptops and had backed up what was on the old hard drive. Some how it is corrupt and not playing well on the new laptop. The current published site is in good order. Is there a way to download the published site to replace what I have on my hard drive so that I can make the necessary updates? Or do I have to recreate from scratch? Thank you in advance!

I am using Fusion essentials (free version - tight budget) and went to Publish Site> and selected Publish a Site Back-up. See attached image

How would I do that? Can you provide a link or steps using Export/import?
