Default My Life Would Be Complete if I could only get Carousel to work right

The first time I make a page and place a carousel, it works flawlessly. Shortly thereafter it screws up in any number of ways. What are the steps I need to take to ensure carousel works?

Right now it's decided to show me an autoscroll band of pics. But I have show 1 pic to show at a time and no autoscroll.

Your links don't work, so I can't see. But I had similar problems with the carousel. In fact, mine used to offer clickable images, when I didn't have a link associated with them. The only way I resolved it was to create a whole new site, get the settings on the carousel right, then never change anything except by adding or removing images from it. It seems if I went in and changed even one simple setting, it somehow trickled down and changed a bunch of other settings. It's probably not a great answer for you, but it's the only way it works for me.

Someone on this forum once suggested using a different carousel: Visual Light Box. I never tried it, but maybe it would work better for you.

What I did to get it to work is to make a separate subdomain for each carousel. It seems to be extremely stable now. And if it does mess up, I only have to redo one page.
