    Default Really basic question

I am trying to publish my first webpage, basically a holding page saying that the website is under construction. I have set up a FTP connection with the help of my ISP and tested it. It seems to work fine. However, when I try to publish my site (just one page), I receive an error message "Error sending file" on everything. A local publish works fine. This is probably something so basic that it will end up being embarrassing, but any suggestions please.

You have the wrong folder specified in your remote profile or your web host requires special FTP settings (SSL type xfer).

Ask your host what their requirements are.
