Thread: Quicktime is blocking the publishing of page on my website.

Default Quicktime is blocking the publishing of page on my website.

A page on my website is blocked by QuickTime when I try to publish it. I created a new page, deleted the previous page and QuickTime is still blocking the new page. I have never used QuickTime on my site. I did start a slide show page but deleted it. Is it possible that the QuickTime attached itself to the page it's blocking, and if so, how do I fix the problem?

Quicktime wil be in your browser, not on your site, unless you have paid for and installed a quicktime server (which you haven't otherwise you wouldn't be asking the question). What format is the file you are trying to view? What happens when you Local Publish? Are you able to LP ok and then ftp to your server. Have you checked your server permissions; it may not be the quicktime app that's preventing the page from loading but your server permissions.

I'd suggest it's actually nothing to do with the page you've uploaded but rather to do with either your browser security settings or your server permissions. In the latter case, contact your ISP.
