NOF 2015 will not open

I'm running Windows 7. I've installed multiple times and the program will not open. Task Manager says its running but nothing is visible. I've tried installing and running as Administrator but that doesn't work. I've also tried it with the Update1 patch. I've upgraded from NOF 2013. Help.

did you install with antivirus disabled?

is the latest java installed?

have you excluded all Nof folders from antivirus scanner?

which av scanner do you use?

Thanks for the response Anton. 1) I disabled my antivirus (I use Bitdefender), 2) I updated to the latest Java before install, 3) I excluded the NOF folder and and the folder I installed from. 4) I installed and tried to run as the Administrator.

It still does not run. Help anyone?

Anton, I am also in Sydney..interesting my NOF 2015 also refuses to open, May 3 2016, and I have used my program for years without a problem. But as a clue I created a Form Page last week and when I uploaded it I noticed a lot of weird looking files revolving in the upload dialog box....I was unable to get my Submit Enquiry button to work on the Form Page, and now I cannot open the NOF2015.
I have also tried the Administrator technique. I will try now to upgrade the Java you mentioned.

could it be that you had a second monitor connected and Nof is opening on the mon that is no longer there?

are you also om Win7? do you let Win do automatic updates? I don't because this often breaks things

do you have a restore point from when it still opened?

I've never used a second monitor. I'm never been able to open NOF 2015. NOF 2013 run fine. I do run updates because contrary to some thought they do sometimes fix security holes.

did you install Nof 2015 with antivirus off? and did you install in default location?

is there a third party firewall on your PC that could be blocking it

what is your antivirus program?

what is your desktop resolution?

is desktop color set to 32bit?

My antivirus and firewall were turned off. I use Bitdefender total security 2016 for both. I installed to the default. Screen resolution 1920 x 1200 with 32 bit color.

can you make a test?

uninstall bitdefender and reboot, see if Nof opens

if not, reinstall bitdefender

if Nof still fails to open after uninstalling bitdefender, uninstall Nof and reinstall
