Post Newby - Help to understand Template STICKY-Green

My apologies in advance if this is too easy, I am a near newbie with only moderate exposure to NOF, but have had NOF for several years through multiple iterations but rarely use.

I want to update an existing website (www.digitalsolarheat.com) and have chosen as a TEMPLATE: Sticky Green:
    http://netobjects.com/samples/templa.../sticky-green/
I find no easy way to integrate the old website with the new Template and have begun the task of 'copy and pasting' and for the most part its working well.

The trouble is, on the main landing page, at the bottom is a feature I would very much like to keep, but I can't find how to access the text. I have considered deleting it, you are my last hope. This page is all but completed including the top Carousel.

The feature in question is called Carousel2 and Sticky Text.
The photos are easy to figure out , the text not so much. I have tried everything in my limited repertoire of knowledge, including searching for the Latin text. Nadda.
It is possible this text is a graphic, but I am unable to find this either.

BTW: This is not related to adding text to the photo/graphic but rather the same sized text box to the side of the photo/graphic that moves in sync.

Surely it can't be this hard.
    Any ideas?

    Cheers
    Ron T.

COMMENT: The help NOF15 files on Carousel need revamping in the worst way as they seem to written by a programmer and not targeted at a user. Try following these instructions and you will see what I mean.

The text (address/Tel Nbr/email) are just simple text boxes, they are not graphics.
Just double click on them and you can edit directly. I don't see any 'sticky text'.....

Thanx gprit, but when loaded in NOF15, the text is missing/transparent/blank. It only shows up when you preview.

I use NOF 2015 and opened a New (from template option) and chose sticky green to test.
The result is what I see on my screenshot (which was in design mode, not preview).
Can you give a screenshot of what you are seeing?
If the text is missing for some reason, can you not just add text boxes?

OK Here is a screen shot. I included most of the page to give you an overall idea.Click image for larger version.

The drop down menu in your screenshot covers what is a white box encompassing the picture and area of the Carousel2 max outline in my iteration.
The text moves with the carousel precluding a simple text addition.

To be clear: You can only currently see this text when the Carousel is in motion (Preview) in edit mode you just see the white box.

Is there any way you can actually put it in a url so it can be seen online?

If not PM me and will have a look.

Default How to replicate Carousel2 Txt issue

Not at the moment, +I will be out most of the day.

However it is reasonably easy to replicate:

If you load the Template into NOF15 as you did before, then
    1. Go to the top normal menu and select PREVIEW next to 'Publish Site' (say yes to scripts if prompted)
    2. Look at the bottom right of the landing page and watch as the carousel begins to move. Note the blocks of Latinesque text and how it moves 1/2 page at a time.
    3. Now in DESIGN mode, go find that text in order to edit it.
    4. On my screen this Carousel2 area is a white box with just the photo as per the screen shot. You can't select the photo either - however; it does come up on the right hand pick list, but not the text.

Ah ok...I think I see what you mean... I'll try and explain as best I can(!)

The Carousel has five images - you can see these in your Assets folder.
Sticky-footer-1 - White background with white latin text
Sticky-footer-2 - Cake Image with one line of latin text incorporated above the image
Sticky-footer-3 - White background with white latin text
Sticky-footer-4 - Bed Image with one line of latin text incorporated above the image
Sticky-footer-5 - image white background with white latin text

You are not seeing the latin text because the Carousel Matte property is set to white....
Change this to black and you will see every image.

The Carousel is also set to show TWO images at a time, progressing one image each time.....hence the cake/bed image appears on the left or right.
The images are correctly NOT set to fit to carousel size.

It is simply a case of creating your images (some text, some image), choosing the right text colours, ideally the same size as current assets.

    Hope that explains......

Many thanks for your imput. I should have realised it was a graphic and it used white in white. If I had loaded all this into Corel Draw (as I just did) it quickly became apparent.

Thank you so much for your time and courtesy,

    Cheers,

You're welcome Ron - there is a lot of experience here to help - don't hesitate to ask - know what it's like to be frustrated by something!
