HELP with publish

I was able to publish FTP to GoDaddy and all the files are there successfully, however when the website opens, it shows a 404 error.

When I published locally it looked fine.

Sounds like you published to the wrong directory on the web server.

Ask your host which directory is the "document root" and make sure your files are there.

I did. Everything is there. I even deleted and manually uploaded just the index page to see and I still get the 404 error

A 404 error happens when the page can't be found in a correct location, so if the page exists, location or page name has to be incorrect.
