You have to load the java jre files. You need to down load the x86 jre ver 8 that will work with win 7. The whole skd is for programmers and you don't need it. The jre file is an executable runtime file. Just double click on it and it will load java after you download it. If you want the 64 bit run time also, down load: jre-8u151-windows-x64.exe To use any 64 bit software your computer must have the 64 bit version of windows on it. But 32 bit software will generally run on 64 bit windows. (or 32 bit windows)
Since Microsoft and Oracle really don't like each other, Microsoft likes to make it confusing to load Oracle software by putting up screens asking you about 10 times if you really want to load the software. Just keep answering yes till you are done.
