Default How do I embed music on a page

I have a page that I want to automatically play a sound file. I have it set up so there's a player on the page, but a user has to click play. How do I get the page to automatically play the music file?

Don't use the 'audio' from the toolbar
On the page you want it to play, right click for Layout properties.
On the background (checkered) tab option, browse for the sound you want.

This will then start automatically when page is opened.

And you've just pissed off every visitor to your page. Automatic music has been one of the most hated things on web sites since at least the late '90s, followed by blinking gifs and marquees. My advice - DON'T DO IT unless you don't care whether or not your visitors immediately click away from your page.

I agree to an extent Franko - gifs and (especially) pop ups really annoy me and most people.
BUT....we don't know what the OP site is for...it could be a music site, or perhaps the music is completely in context with the website subject eg funeral music.....

What you say is true, but then allowing the user to click to play the music is a much more user friendly way and more likely to engage the visitor. If there's one thing I've learned in more than twenty years developing web sites (and more than 30 years on the internet) is that users like to be in control.
