Default How to do fly outs in NOF 12

I can’t find out how to put a fly-out menu on a single nav button. I have six pages which I want to fly-out when the button is moused over, then to be able to go to any one of the fly-out pages. Can’t find it in the NO help anywhere.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

Click on your Navigation Bar and have a look at the Navigation Bar Probertites, General Tab, Click on Edit Custom. You will see a Custom Navigation Bar Structure screen where you can create the drop down structure just like for files! When you have created the structure go to the Navigation Bar Probertites, Style Tab and click on Advanced. You can then decide on how it displays, Vertical, Horizontal, Right, Left, Above, Below, etc!

    Thanks Warrenr for your reply.
I’m sorry, but I still can’t understand it. I’m not even sure how fly-outs are supposed to work. I want to put three or four pages on a fly-out of one of my 20 odd navigation buttons, to be the same throughout the whole site.
I can’t see how I can do this from the custom nav box. Do I have to shift all of the page buttons into the custom box, then post it on all pages?

Get the navigation buttons the way you want them on one page and just copy the Navigation bar to all the other pages! Have a look at this site I did using NOF 13, the About tab to see if this is what your looking for: http://www.elshaddaiministries.org.za/index.html

Yes sir, that's what I’m looking for, except my nav buttons are vertical down the left side of the pages. See my site at www.schooner-britannia.com
I’ve transferred all the pages over to the right panel on the Custom Navigation Bar Structure box, and added one of the pages I want to be fly-out using the add title button – is this correct?. Also what should the link type and target be set to?
I then went to Advanced Visual Style Settings and choose horizontal.
Then I returned to navigation bar properties, ticked fly out and auto close.
    Now what?
By the way, the fly out page I’m using as a test is published on my site.
I’ve also previously edited the Museum Site style I use to have only the Regular buttons. All the rest are removed and the nav buttons work fine, does this screw up a fly-out though? Is there a fly out button I’ve deleted?
Sorry to put you through this, I’m actually not a thick Brit, but I can’t find the procedure anywhere in NO instructions or furums.
    Regards ROGER.

Have you been through the documentation? What you are asking is basic use of NoF. http://wiki.netobjects.com/Table_of_Contents

Yes Franko, I have investigated this source and others, but I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer so far. I have used NOF since 2, but I’ve never needed to use fly-outs until now.
I’ve followed all the instructions I can find, including warrenr’s, but without success.
I’m actually wondering if I might have a computer conflict. I’m still on XP with Explorer 8, and I get a Flash notice every time I use NOF 12.
    Any input will be appreciated.
