Default Can Versions 9 and 10 be on the same PC?

This has never happenned to me before. I've always worked with two
versions of NOF in the same PC until I'm sure the latest version works
    as I need it too.
This time I have versions 9 and 10 and for some reason now I can't
publish complete pages. I do get connected, and transmission starts but
after several minutes I get a message saying that X number of files
couldn't be transfered. Yet, as I press OK, I get the message that the
transfer was done, but as I look for the page its in fact in the web but
    incomplete.
I checked my ISP and they say everything is fine, I checked the server
and even restarted the FTP service several times and still have the
problem. I tried to publish without the firewall working... the same.
I Ftp'd with other programs, worked fine.
So I'm starting to suspect that this time both versions can't be on the
same computer. Does anybody know about this?
    Any other suggestion?
I've asked NetObjects tech support but their silence is not very helpful.

Yes, you can have both installed.

    In fact, I have 7.5, 8, 9.1 and 10 installed here.

They should each be in their own folder under Program Files\NetObjects.

Your problem sounds like the passive mode settnig in your advanced ftp
settings in your remote publish profile.

    Try changing it.

Are you having the same problem in both 9 and 10?

    Hi,

Yes, I'm having the same problem when I try to publish different sites
    from 9 and 10.
And in both cases FTP is in passive mode.
    I'm completely lost!

    Try unchecking passive mode.
