Default fields exposition to external methods

    Dear fellow Noffers,

I'd like to know if anyone among you has ever had the occasion of
manipulating NOF fields (I mean the fields defined within the pages to
support text boxes, layouts, images and so on) with external programming.
Are NOF fields visible to external programming (Javascript, PHP and so on)
and thus modifiable, or are they for strict internal use by NOF?

    Peace and success,

I have not done much in that area, but I used JS to do form validation
    in my forms in v8.

    Dear Micah,

first of all, thanks for answering my question. However, as I am an
absolute novice, could you be so kind as to indicate me how you accessed the
fields in the form or any other NOF field by Javascript? May I be so daring
as to ask you to send me some code examples at lben1@tiscali.it.

    Peace and success,
    Luigi

    1. Sorry, but I do not have the site anymore, I was using it for test
site and scraped it when I got a new computer.
To access the files, you can go in to HTML (I am pretty sure that is how
I did it) and find the files you want to edit and place the code above
or below or in it. NOF grays out the area of the code, but enables you
to put your own code above, below or inside in certain spots.
You can also click on the form item you want to do something with, and
then click the HTML button on the properties and then choose whether you
want to put your code inside, top or bottom.
Sorry I could not be of more help.
    Micah
