Default General Question about searching internal intranet pages

    Hello:

A few months back I downloaded version 7.5, and have been playing around with it.

My only dilemma is that without getting in to some JavaScript (which I attempted), and publishing the site, I cannot implement searching capability. I'm not picky as to how the searching works, but I need to be able to do this.

The goal is to simply have an internal intranet website, running index.html for the main page. I like this product because it seems that anyone in our organisation could quickly learn to support it.

If I purchased 2015, would I be able to implement the search capability?

    Thanks!

Doing searches within a website can be done using Google Search Component. See the wiki page which shows how to add it to a site:

It seems that awhile ago, Google discontinued some search functions but I don't remember which ones. Before spending a lot of time, you might search if that component is still useable.

Here is something you should look at: https://cse.google.com/cse/

But it in mind when using any thing from Google, Google will suck up any and all information it "stumbles" over and will use it to it's advantage.

If you don't want to connect your site to the Internet, you can use a log in page.

And BTW, why a search function when you only have 1 page?

I will have several internal html pages. Does .NET Objects 2015 allow for any functionality to search them from a main section available on all pages as a single entity?

Sorry, NOF is an html generator. It does not generate program code creating dynamic pages. External add on components would work better than anything NOF would probably create, which they don't.

Read the wiki page and you might find something that works something like you want. NOF can create some functionality which looks like a web app but it really is not.
