    Default JDK not installed

    Hello all,
I transferred my NOF 15 from old laptop WIn 10 to newer PC (win 10) and when trying to post, im getting JDK not installed. I installed JDK 15.0.1 and JRE also. I read that I needed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) and did so but get the same error.

Attached is a screen of my java ver.

Any help or ideas would be great.

    Thanks

Nof needs the 32bit version of Java and not the 64bit version

jre1.8.0_271 is what I have and it is installed in program files (x86)

    Hi Anton,

Thank you for your response and help! Attached herein is a shot of my Java 1.8.0_271 now in (x86) folder. I have the JDK and JRE that I'm assuming is 32bit. they are shown below.
Sadly to say I still get the error "JDK not installed"
    - it does look like it trying to do something when trying to post but the error will pop up.

Hello all, I've run into this problem as well, on a current install, that was working fine last time I published our website approximately a month ago...I've read the pertinent threads related to "JDK Not installed" errors, like this one and performed the following tasks without any luck!
    1. Removed all Java updates and reinstalled the latest 32bit version of Java JDK 1.8.0_271 and it comes with the JRE files. This is the only JAVA installation on my computer.
    2. Cleared the cache of all temporary files
    3. Removed and reinstalled the MS visual C++ 2010 redistributor files
    4. I’ve uninstalled Net Objects and re-installed it.
    5. I’ve changes the login information to connect to the Network Solutions FTP site, even created a new profile…
    6. Restarted my computer after most uninstalls and reinstalls.

Every time I try to publish either to the FTP server or locally, I get the same error message!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!
    Lee

same here, Anton. since the last Java update by Oracle publishing isn't possible any more, even if I follow your steps and install the older version from the link. the same message keeps comming "JDK not installed!!"

it has something to do with the latest Java update by Oracle, I think 281. it must do a change to the Windows system, which can't be reset by implementing 271.
