    Default Becoming a Plumber

    Hi, everybody,

It's been so long since I wrote here. I've been so busy.

I am currently working on setting up my own plumbing business here in France. I have experience in this field, but there is no diploma confirming my experience.

The Chambre du metier told me that I can get my degree in 3 years if I work with a plumber or if I do an education.

I've tried my best to get in line, but Pole employi and the APPS are giving me an extremely difficult time. So, as I understand it, my best bet is to find a plumber who would be willing to teach me.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find a plumber and how to convince him to listen to me? I would be willing to work for less than the minimum wage, even for free, if only I could gain the knowledge to achieve my goal.

By the way, I'm in the Montpellier area.

Thank you in advance for your time and attention

I think you should consider getting a degree. In our time, this is very important.

Hope that your business has still developed. I can give you any advice if you are interested. I have been working as a plumber for 5 years, and have the pretty big experience to determine really qualified specialist or perspective beginners. You should always ask to send you his certificated from college and advanced training courses. Really can't understand how a lot of employers trust by words and are surprised that they get negative reviews. It is so essential always to continue your education. There are such a lot of really professional plumbers, you could read on howtobecomeaplumber.org how much are they in demand.

I think it's better to learn from a real professional.

You should check the qualifications of the master you want to study with. This should be a master with a long experience in the profession. He will give you the most up-to-date information. It will also be helpful for you to communicate with different plumbers in the future. Because everyone has their own working methods, and you will eventually make up your own. For example, I'm an engineer, and I know very little about plumbing. So usually, when there is a breakdown at home, and we call a master from a trusted company, I assist him, ask what he does. And I learn from him to perform all your common plumbing needs.
