Unlike self-adhesive vinyl, the adhesive coating is not tacky, as it is only activated when heated, therefore when you cut your shapes you must remember to reverse the design as you will be turning the material over so that the built in carrier liner sits on top when you heat press or iron your media. This liner is usually tacky, ensuring your design remains in place whilst you apply the film.
