    Hi John,

I see the font on the buttons are steppy, but what about the type Our of
Embers below the main heading. Was that done in NOF or did you do that
as a graphic in photoshop or the like. It is not antialiased either.

Is this the style of this font?

    Ok. Definitive test.
    Cleartype enabled.
    Page republished.
    Result... Text *not* anti aliased.
See attached image, grabbed from web browser.

Automatically generated banner text by NOF.

The only text that is anti-aliased is the graphics that I created in
Paint Shop Pro. The text in the buttons and banners are all rendered by NOF.

    Hi John,

Was this done in NOF? I think it looks like you did this in photoshop
and I think the steppy font is the design of that font. What is the font
    name.

    Gary,

    It's Segoe Script.

Aliases fine in testing I've done with it.

I personally would like to see the addition of some easy DIV set up and
better CSS integration. I don't understand how the SEMANTIC HTML is any
different other than these simple AJAX accordian components. I would have
expected more jQuery or Scriptaculous type effects with easy implementation.

This age of web 2.0 and the use of DIVs and CSS should be a lot easier to
see. Like SmileMelon.com has an awesome program called WEBSITE LAYOUT MAKER
and it has some very nice features that I would expect to see from NOF in
    version 11.

I make custom MySpace pages for my clients and I think adding some MYSPACE
components to the program would make NOF 11 or future versions or updates
very VERY attractive to those that want a nice program and not shell out the
    money for something like Dreamweaver.

Yeah to me that looks like A-it was done it Photoshop or other program and
it was not set to smooth or crisp or the other flavors available for the
option or B-It is a bug in NOF 11 I too have recently seen when making text
on some of NOF's components where the text comes across messed up. I would
have to go with B since that is what he said was the problem.
www.RMBama.com check out my link here on my clients site and check out my
top navigation links on the top of the banner bar [LINKS | CONTACT US |
DONATE] and you see what NOF did with that arial text.
Kind of what was shown on the out of embers buttons

As I said before, these *are* rendered by NOF from the *plain* button
    images in the style sheet.

    Yes, that's correct

Can you show me a website with NOF rendered navbars that show anti-aliasing?
Is there a setting in NOT that I'm not aware of?

    I did it again.
Turned font smoothing on (Horrible for small fonts!)
Re-published the *entire page*, not just changed assets.
Fired up the browser and cleared the cache.
Took a grab of what was on the screen in each instance.

    See the following screen captures.

Definitely not true. The buttons are the standard navbar component with
plain button images taken from the style sheet.

or B-It is a bug in NOF 11 I too have recently seen when

Actually I would hate the idea of NOF only following the system setting.
What you want for your website may not be what is good for your own PC
    (As is my case).
What I want is an option to anti-alias particular components, such as
the primary navigation buttons, not to be forced to change the settings
of my whole PC just to get NOF to render correctly!
