Re: what do I say?
Hi Micah -
I like the site - clean & simple. While I don't pretend to be an expert,
I'm often surprised to see how cheaply people will do sites.
I think 800 is still cheap for what they got.

Not to mention - sometimes for generic products like that one has to
face the fact they need to pay for sponsored links to get top rankings.

Re: what do I say?
Nancy,
I will change the code, thanks for helping out.
For some odd reason, whenever I publish the queens page, it deletes the
images, and I need to republish that page again to get them to show.
Not sure why.
I will change the fonts and center the banners. Thanks for pointing
them out.
I was wondering if I took the image I have and just made is scrolling
with a #FFFFCC background color if that would be better?
I do not have photoshop, just Paint.NET.
thanks,
Micah

That could work too. Try it and see how it looks.
I forgot to mention. The site is well worth $300 +++

Re: what do I say?
Thanks for the compliment. It is my first contracted website. All my
others were for me or my beekeeping club, which I did free. I just
talked to him on the phone about it. I told him the plain truth, I
can't do anymore. :-) I told the rest is just getting other beekeeping
sites to link to him. He said that he thinks that the other programmer
wanted the job.
I am building a CubeCart website for him right now, it will be his
online store, www.store.cedarglenbees.com, if you want to see how
customizable CubeCart is.
My 11th website is www.saveourbees.creationtidbits.com, I started it
last night and it is a nonprofit one for my beekeeping club. That is me
handling the bees on the right. ;-)
Any thoughts, as it is in it infancy, literary.

Thanks for sharing this. While not a beekeeper, I'm amazed at how little
press the current situation with bees is getting. Don't people understand
the importance of a healthy bee population? Silly me, of course they don't.
Food comes wrapped or canned in the store & that's it. Sigh - I'll get off
my soapbox now.
I'm looking forward to more info on the site (particularly about what an
average person can do) & I hope everyone here reads it!

You are right, sadly. I am amazed at how many people think that milk
comes from a bottle in the store, you would be shocked to see how many
people think that chocolate milk comes from BROWN COWS!!
Same with bees and honey, they think there is some machine that produces
it at the store or something. We (the local beekeeping clubs) are going
to be running a raffle to help raise funding for research in our apiary.
It will be a month or so until the website is done, I will post it in
the new sites NG when it is done. Of Course you can keep checking it
out to see what new design feature I thought of. And if you have
ideas that would be great.
Thanks,
Micah
P.S. did you notice I posted the right way this time. LOL

I've been hearing quite a bit about this bee problem on Coast to Coast AM
(radio show) in recent weeks. Strange that no bee bodies are being found.
Funny thing is that last summer (2006) I saw honey bees in my backyard for
the first time in the 11 years that I've lived in my home here in Nevada.
Prior to that it was only smaller insects that look like a small bee and
wasps, which are both still around.
BTW, I am in full view of a dairy farm complete with cows of all cow colors.
<grin>
