No. I have nothing - it was just a thought.

My first thought is that the site looks a little bland and outdated.
Gradients, background images, rounded corners, maybe more creative use
of colour can all be used to make the site more 'now' and interesting.

    Micah,

I get an undesired pop-up warning...is this by design?

That is just a test I was doing, I have not taken it off, do not worry,
it would not have been in the end result. <g>

Hmmm, the background image was dropped, but a Gradient might look good,
    but what colors? <g>

I found this free template that might give you some ideas. It's at:

I like the existing, solid background. It's clean, sharp without being cold
and lets the most important elements have their deserved prominence, i.e.
nav bars and photos. Perhaps most importantly, it provides excellent
contrast to the black text, which a texture rarely accomplishes.

Now and interesting is easily overdone to end up as cluttered, busy and
unattractive. Also consider the topic... it should convey a sense of
seriousness rather than trendiness. Think little black dress.

    Hi All -

I've been watching this discussion & learning (always a good thing). But,
    since it's a beautiful Saturday afternoon & I'm inside working 'cause I
messed something up for a client, I have to make a comment. OK, I probably
would even if it were snowing...

I agree wholeheartedly with this, but I'm thinking that "Think little black
dress" will evoke *very* different images for men & women. Not that either
    are bad....

Sorry - just had to do it <g>
