I say we all boycott Microsoft on May 30, 2007. Maybe they will
collapse from within?

Re: Stats
What are you going to do? Toss your computer out the door and onto the
road? I like Microsoft. They make better computers than I have ever seen
in a Mac, and I have several friends that have Macs.

I run XP Home at my (home) office and XP professional for my current, main
contract job. Both systems use IE, current version, whatever we're at today.
I'm sure that Firefox is cleaner and safer, but it's just not the standard
in the business community for my line of work (communications and graphic
design in North America). Btw, my firewall/antivirus stuff is Norton, and
I've not had any problems with it.
It will be interesting to hear the results of your survey.

Err, Microsoft don't make computers.

Re: Stats
IE7 on XP PRO SP2, just like you. I have Firefox but I honestly dislike it
(I've been spoiled by IE for many years and never found another browser that
could win me over).

I also use Opera, although I'm not into gestures. I use IE
and FF only for additional testing.

Re: Stats
Well, it here is what I got.
IE 7 - FF 1.5 - FF 2 - Opera
4 1 2 3
I really figured that webmasters would be using IE 7 by now. I was amazed
that Opera is almost top, as I almost hate it. <g>
Anyone else can post their browsers if they want.
Here are is my Dad's website's stats.
www.organicproduceshoppe.com
Stats.gif is all the browsers. Stats2.gif is the IE stats. IE 6 is 53% on
his website.
On my website.
www.creationtidbits.com
Stats3.gif is all the browsers. Stats4.gif is the IE stats, IE7 is over
60%.
A lot of time it depends on the group your website targets.
