What does everybody thing of the new Google Analytics?
http://www.google.com/analytics/ The new beta is out. I am trying to
decide whether I like it or not. It is nice in some areas, but others seem
a bit hard to understand. Probably just time, anyway, I would like to hear
    your thoughts.

The new analytics is improved, on first inspection, for the simple site
info we generally need, but still I think (unless you're into goal
tracking and conversion rates) statcounter is easier for clients to use.

I have used both, and I agree, but statcounter only keeps the last 100 for
you, unless you pay. I found Google Analytics though this newsgroup, and
have not looked back. <g> It is better for complete stats.

Agreed, if you need that level of info, Goggle rules, but most people
just want to see who's been visiting, and where they came from. From
most clients' point of view, google gives too much information, and
statcounter is easier for them to understand.

The first google analytics I found confusing and complicated to navigate:
The new beta is much better. I like it and find it simple to use, it gives
me the info I want and I'll stick with it for my site and the next one that
I am building as I become more familiar with NOF.
