Re: Exporting Style to Template?
That may be the way to go by making the custom site style over again if I
can remember everything. I'll get to in the next couple of days and let you
know if that solved it for me.
As an aside, if NOF imports the complete site style into the template then
why would it look, after a re-installation of NOF, for the custom style in
the styles folder? After all I'm using a template to rebuild the site.

Re: Exporting Style to Template?
Hi Anton,
I don't know why it says it cannot find the files on Publish. These are
suppose to be the auto-generated files that NOF makes from the master gifs I
assigned for banner and navigation buttons in the site style. It looks like
it can't make the navigation and banner buttons as it can't find the master
site style gifs which it was suppose to import when the template was made.
At least that is what I have sleuth.

I hope someone can explain as I have been told that exporting as a
template is a "sure fire" way to reproduce a site due to some disaster.
If this isn't the case I would like to know now.

Re: Exporting Style to Template?
I would just go to style view and browse for the missing images, and set
fonts to your liking while there
you may also try tools, reoptimize in site view
and then click delete unused assets in asset view, then click verify assets

Re: Exporting Style to Template?
Hi Karl,
I rebuilt my custom style as suggested and its back. Good thing I keep a
separate folder for all my web graphics, by job, as all the back-up
templates had no styles (images and css) or had some default style with
incorrect gifs. I keep this folder of original art to import into my assets
folders and don't rely on the assets folder for the only source. I also
played with the font style and size until the preview looked exactly like
the online version.
This may have been a rare hiccup but I think from now on when I make a
template I'll take a look with Winzip to ensure that my assets carry the
path "styles\job\images" to ensure my style is there. And I'll even click on
one of the images to make sure the name is really the correct image and not
some default gif.
Anyways once, again this calm and experienced group has proved, that it
alone, is worth more than the price of the program.
Thanks Karl and Anton.
