    Default ez-round

Anyone using ez-round? Just wondered if your pages load as quick as pages
without. Looking for something to frame a media polayer to give it a nice
look. Something that looks like a computer monitor playing the video...

If you're using Flash video, the "skin" as it's called can be designed in
your Flash authoring program (Flash pro or Swishmax are two examples). If
using another media type, applying a non-standard skin gets a bit more
    complicated.

IMHO EZ-Round pages don't load any slower or faster than any other site with
appropriately sized images and backgrounds. If you can get the effect you
want from EZ, go for it.

Once you generate the graphics using EZ-Round, you can further compress them
in your editor of choice if you want to.

    Hi Carl,

You could I guess - but this is not really needed.

EZRound determines the smallest possible slices (based on your design) and
then they are already highly optimized.

Most designs are less than 10K total (all nine slices), so it is doubtful
that you could reduce them any further (or that it would matter).

    HTH,

    Charles
