Default Font won't "stick" in banner

I'm trying to use Frutiger LT 45 Light as the font in my banners. I've
tried both an Adobe postscript version and a TrueType version but it
just won't "stick". I've duplicated one of NOF's styles and edited it to
use my own banner graphic. I apply the Frutiger font which seems to
stick. I can see it on the Styles page, and on Preview, then in Page
view, but as soon as I publish or Save, it goes and is replaced by
either Times New Roman (browser proportional) or by a font called Script
of all things! If I look at the CSS, it mostly says Frutiger LT 45 Light
but on the occasions that it takes it into its head to use Script, the
    CSS changes to Script.

I've been using NOF for many years and have never seen this before. Is
there a bug in this new version that's causing this perhaps?

Default More info re Font won't "stick" in banner

If I use my banner graphic as a background to a layout region and
overlay dot_clear.gif with text in graphic, it saves and publishes fine.
So the problem I have isn't with the font, it's with NOF not allowing me
to use it in my Style.

I had a similar problem and posted a question about this on 2007/04/04.
Anton let me know that the Site css style may be replacing my SiteStyle.
He said, "click text menu up top, then manage styles
[then] delete any style you don't want under site style (scroll up to
    see), then
the style style will take over"

He included a picture if you need it.
