Thread: NetObjects Seepd Issues (Please run test and report back)

    Hi,

Your results are the same as mine. This is looking very much like NetObjects
is getting it self into a recursive loop. How can we ensure that management
    gets this information?

    Regards
    Jeff

    Gotcha -

I didn't download it 'cause I'm still using 9. I browse this NG because
it's so much more active than the 9 group.

Speed: I travel a lot & sometimes my only option away from home is
dialup.... I bet others are in the same boat occasionally.

Yeh I travel a lot and have problems now and again with attachments, mainly
in the old iron curtain countries.

    Hello Jeff,

In reading both of your posts I never did see exaclty which version of NoF
10 your running. I had the very same issues that your writing about and it
took a long time for them to sort out what the problem was. I hosted many
videos of the slow performance and many suggested it was the number of fonts
installed etc.. Well, they finally corrected this issue in AU3.

So, if you would be kind enough to post your build number.. It should be the
same as mine with which my slow down issues are gone. If you have this build
and your still seeing the slowness entering text in to a text area, table
cell etc. then there may be some other issue not fixed yet... I'll have to
go back and look to see what your system specs were.

I'm running a 3.5mHz HT processor with 2 gig ram. PC5400. and had the slow
downs until the latest patch from NoF.

    Update #3

I think the issue is more to do with memory using 100% to do simple
    formating.

I think I would have completly run out of ideas before suggesting its an
    issue with fonts.

Check out eMail from Timdona, same result I get. 100% memory use.

Thatks for feedback, but I have latest update.

    Still using Windows XP.

Planning to get Vista in next couple of weeks.

How do we go about letting management know about the Memory issue?

    Regards
